Subject:  Restoration of the Johnson County Missouri Senatorial VOICE

Senators Caleb Rowden and Cindy O’Laughlin have silenced the Senate VOICE of Johnson County, Missouri.  We, the people and Republican leaders of Johnson County want our VOICE restored.  Now.

Senate leaders Rowden and O’Laughlin lost their tempers in January and, in their flare, stripped Johnson County Senators of their committee Chair positions, cut their budgets, and decided to get really childish by removing their Reserved Senate Parking spots.

Such actions are not worthy of leadership.  How dare these two SILENCE THE VOICE OF JOHNSON COUNTY with their immature and lobbyist-bought-off behavior?  What they’ve done flies in the face of both the US Constitution and the Missouri Constitution. 

We have people in Senate leadership positions acting AGAINST our Constitutions.

THE VOICE OF JOHNSON COUNTY MUST IMMEDIATELY BE RESTORED IN OUR MISSOURI SENATE.

The actions of Rowden and O’Laughlin are further disgusting in light of the fact that JOHNSON COUNTY SENATORS were “punished” because it was said they were disruptive of Senatorial actions due to “filibustering too long.”  Yet, Democrats have since filibustered longer hours than did our Senators with NO repercussions!!

What on earth is wrong with Rowden and O’Laughlin?

Their actions blatantly show a lack of leadership skills; are foolish, hypocritical and unconstitutional.

We request the following actions be taken IMMEDIATELY:

• Reinstate our Senators Brattin and Hoskins to their rightful duties as Chairs of their committees
• Reinstate their full budgets
• Reinstate their Senatorial Parking Spots
• Appropriate ALL these actions to all Freedom Caucus members who were affected.
• GIVE JOHNSON COUNTY BACK OUR VOICE IN THE SENATE!!!!!

REINSTATE OUR SENATORS AND OUR VOICE.
